This video feels a bit out of sequence comparing it with other materials I’m looking at – but it does help to systematise the information about vowels:

The three long vowels aleph wow and ya were all included in the first lesson about the alphabet here, but not really explained as vowels.

The short vowels FatHa Damma and Kasra are usually not written in – but they can be denoted with accents above and below the letters they follow.
